First of all think about what you enjoy doing – because if you already enjoy something and can then turn it into a way to make money, then you will have a great time getting richer!

1. Driving. Would you enjoy driving new vehicles that need delivering to their destination?
Or how about chauffeuring a local wealthy business-man/woman in their limo?

2. Films. Like to get paid for watching films? There are companies that will pay for your opinion of their latest film! Or how about being an ‘extra’ on film sets?

3. Pets. How about offering a local dog-walking service or a pet-sitting service? Or pet-grooming? Or pet accessories?

4. Exercise. If you like to keep fit, why not train as a personal fitness instructor? Or start a local delivery service by bike? (cheaper for companies than paying cabs).

5. Shopping. Why not become a ‘Mystery Shopper’. You not only get paid for your time, but also often get to keep what you bought! Or how about being a personal shopper? You could help people buy for their new home or office, or help them find clothes that suit them or help them find the perfect gift for a special occasion.

6. Parties. There are a number of ideas that spring to mind here – party-plan, organising kids’ parties, organising company parties or private parties or themed parties or fancy dress parties.

So, get a notebook and write down all your hobbies, interests and passions and then brainstorm (maybe with a friend or partner) and see what ideas you can generate. You don’t have to give up the day-job – yet!
